Fair & transparent

BILLING MODELS

  • Retainer — project-phase based, plannable partial payments
  • Retainer Lite — one-time upfront fee to accelerate the search
  • Success Model — payment only upon successful placement
  • Hybrid — combination of effort and success fee
  • Hourly — time-accurate and fully transparent

On request, we can offset the success fee against variable bonuses — only once they have actually been paid out in the first year.

What does recruiting with PARAX cost?

That depends on the model we choose together. We work with five billing models — from retainer to success fee to hourly. What that means for your specific role, we discuss in the initial consultation. No standard price that doesn't fit your situation.

How long does a typical placement take?

For most roles, we plan on 6 to 14 weeks through to contract signing. What influences the search: how clearly the profile is defined, how competitive the terms are, and how fast your internal decision-making process runs. We discuss this openly in the briefing.

Do you also search for candidates who are not actively looking?

That is the core of active sourcing. The best candidates for your role are typically not on the market. They are satisfied in their current position and decide to move from that position of strength — when a genuinely compelling offer comes along. Those are exactly the people we reach through targeted direct outreach, not job ads.

Do you work exclusively?

We prefer exclusive mandates because that protects the quality of the search. When three agencies search in parallel, candidates notice — and the company's first impression suffers. Whether exclusivity fits your situation is something we sort out in the initial consultation.

What happens if a candidate leaves the company shortly after starting?

We offer a replacement guarantee. Details and duration depend on the agreed model and are set out in the contract. The retainer model is handled differently from a pure success model — we explain this transparently.

How does the first conversation go?

No pitch, no presentation. We work through our briefing plan systematically: what do you need, what has not worked so far, what does your internal decision-making process look like. At the end you know how we would approach it and what it would cost. Free and without obligation.

Why PARAX and not a large executive search firm?

At large firms you often get one consultant for the mandate and a team for the execution that has no real connection to the industry. At PARAX we work with selected partners with relevant experience within your target parameters. The right people for the right role.

Can you fill multiple roles at the same time?

Yes. We work with a network of specialists and can handle multiple mandates in parallel without compromising quality. Depending on the area, we bring in the right specialist for the role.
